Nidhal Guessoum is a professor of physics and astronomy at the American University of Sharjah, UAE. He taught in Kuwait and Algeria and spent two years as a post-doctoral researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Prof Guessoum has written many articles and several books on issues related to science, education, and Islam, including Islam's Quantum Question: Reconciling Muslim Tradition and Modern Science. He is a passionate advocate of re-instilling scientific methodology in Muslim culture.
