Is It Rational to Be a Christian?

The Center for Philosophy of Religion at University of Notre Dame has assembled a series of short, animated videos that address some of life’s big questions through the philosophical worldview of Templeton Prize winner Alvin Plantinga.

The Plantinga Videos tackle some of Plantinga’s most important contributions to the philosophy of religion. His ideas transformed how those within philosophy and the surrounding culture understood theism—the belief in a divine reality or god.

The videos include such topics as the rationality of Christianity (below), transworld depravity, foreknowledge, evolutionary argument, and more.

In 2017 Plantinga was awarded the the Templeton Prize, which each year honors a living person who has made an exceptional contribution to affirming life’s spiritual dimension, whether through insight, discovery, or practical works. For more on Plantinga, check out his bio.
