Does kindness really beget kindness?
The folks at SoulPancake have partnered with the John Templeton Foundation to determine whether people feel more inspired to be generous when they see other people being generous with them.
In this study, we let people play with a pen of puppies for five minutes. Then, they had a choice to make. They can keep an extra $50, but the next group of people don’t get to play with puppies. Or, they can walk away from the $50 and give someone else the chance to play with puppies.
