Timothy Dalrymple, PhD
Editor in Chief, ORBITER magazine
When Tim was asked in the fourth grade to deliver a report as one of his heroes, he showed up in character (wheelchair and all) as Stephen Hawking. Physics remained his first love, especially where it brushed up against enduring philosophical questions. Tim went on to earn his BA at Stanford in philosophy and religion, an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in modern western religious thought from Harvard's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. After years of teaching, Tim left academia to help found Patheos.com, now the world's largest religion website. The creative agency he founded in 2013, Polymath Innovations, serves major business and nonprofit clients around the world. Having left science behind for years, he means to rectify that error and is thrilled to be a part of ORBITER.
