John ZuHone grew up in rural Illinois where he could see a dark night sky and became hooked on astronomy. After pursuing degrees in physics and astronomy at the University of Illinois and the University of Chicago, he held postdoctoral appointments with the Smithsonian Institution, NASA, and MIT. He is currently an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. As an Anglican Christian, John brings a perspective to the science and faith discussion which emphasizes how the physical world becomes a means of communion with God.
